Counsellor Supervision

I am a qualified Supervisor for counselling professionals and students. I set up my own private practise in 2017 having completed my counselling diploma through ABC awarding body to complement my Psychology degree. Since then I have specialised in living with life limiting illness, cancer support, bereavement, anxiety and autism within my counselling work.

In 2019 I joined the counselling arm of a local business hub on a voluntary basis to implement policy, procedures, administration, assessment etc. to establish an affordable counselling opportunity for our local area residents. This has been an amazing asset to the area during Covid 19 times and subsequently, following my training has led me to gaining experience of group and individual supervision for counselling students who are on placement with us.

I offer a supportive, safe, nurturing and approachable way of working together firmly based within the coaching and mentoring model.  Prior to my counselling career, I worked in HR and at times draw upon many of the structured and focused ways of working involved in personal development to enhance your career or studies.

My knowledge of autism has enabled me to provide an inclusive and supportive individual approach to working together.

If you would like to know any more about me and my way of working please do not hesitate to contact me.
