I'm worried about confidentiality....
I appreciate that this may be a concern initially, and I pride myself on my professional approach and commitment to upholding confidentiality.
For your reassurance, it is worth noting that I am a member of the BACP (British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists) and as such I am committed to and abide by their ethical guidelines surrounding confidentiality and ethical code of practice. This is included within our contract at the beginning of working together. Please follow the link below for further information.

I am also a member of the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) and as such abide by their standards for all digital or paper based personal date stored. What is included in the counselling contract?
The counselling contract is in place to keep you and myself safe in terms of ethical boundaries and agreed understanding of the work we undertake.
It covers: What type of counselling you will receive, fees and payment, confidentiality, data protection, length and timing of counselling sessions, cancellation policy, practice and disclosure, mobile phone policy, secure storage and data handling.
Should you be undertaking online counselling there is also an appendix added to the contract with regards to online safety and procedures.
